LaminaHeat

LaminaHeat PowerFilm generates the heat exactly where the heat is needed. Although only 100 micron thick it can generate up to 10 KW/m2. Due to its unique structure the heat is generated over 100 % of the surface area at the same time and very homogenously. LaminaHeat PowerFilm is very forgiving in handling and damages like punctured holes will not impact its performance. It comes in varies standard polymer matrixes and can be easily customized to specific needs. 

PowerFabric

LaminaHeat LLC is pleased to announce an exciting new addition to its line of thin flexible heating materials called PowerFabric (patent pending).  Made from the same lightweight and homogeneous carbon fiber/glass veil with copper contact strips the PowerFabric now sandwiches this heating technology between woven fabrics for significantly improved flexibility and broader application potential.  Using a standard fiber glass mat on either side enables the new PowerFabricheating technology to not only add heat where it is needed but also adds structural reinforcement at the same time.  Just like our original PowerFilm, the current is applied to the copper strips of the PowerFabric to generate evenly distributed and localized heat across the fiber sheet at required temperatures up to 572° F (300° C).  The PowerFabric is produced in a unique and proprietary continuous process and can employ various woven fabrics and finishing options that offers manufacturers the ability to incorporate PowerFabric into their products during fabrication.  Just like our PowerFilm, PowerFabric offers advantages over other heating systems that use wires or individual carbon fibers due to its better damage tolerance and even heat distribution.  
PowerFabric can be provided in options based on the types of fabrics and fibers needed and/or the electrical properties required, comes in continuous rolls or individual sheets and can be tailored to fit specific customer applications.

PowerFilm

PowerBlanket

LaminaHeat PowerBlankets are based on or PowerFilm being embedded into a durable, high performing silicone matrix either glass fiber reinforced or plain silicone resin. They come in standard dimensions or can be custom made. Temperature range is up to 220 °C/430 °F.

PowerPanel

Entire surface heats up at the same time. Ideal product to turn a cold press immediately into a
hot press.Designed to be attached to a hard surface. Heat up rates 0-30°C/min. Can generate up to 13 kW/m² or 8 Watt/inch². High Gloss or matt finish embedded in a high performance tooling Epoxy/Glass Prepreg Specific design on demand up to 180 ℃ or 350 ℉!

PowerControl

LaminaHeat offers standard or customized Electronic Control Units (ECU’s) to manage PowerFilm and PowerBlanket applications. From single to multiple zone configurations and from simple on/off functions to complex data collection for very demanding processes we can provide the right solutions for you.
